Harvey Mcqueen is looking for a (LFG) Technical Manager to be based from its Manchester office presenting an opportunity to work for a fast growing company, managing exciting global brands and clients with both within the UK and across the EMEA regions.
Our client operates in the retail marketing sector, providing solutions to leading global brands to support in-store and external marketing campaigns within the retail sector across the EMEA region.
The company is growing its LFG services capability and this new role is to provide technical assistance and project management team and deliver Store Survey and Graphic Installation services to the quality expectations of 100%’s high profile customer base.
> A comprehensive knowledge of the Large Format Graphics / Signage industry
> A good knowledge of manufacturing techniques, materials and the installation of large format graphics/signage
> Excellent project management skills
> Strong organisation and written/verbal communication skills
> Flexibility to work at non-standard working hours in line with different countries local time zones
> Comfortable with working international and multicultural partner organisations
> Able to work efficiently under pressure with attention to detail
> Available for international travel including Middle East, Russia, Turkey, India.
> Reliable, committed to deadlines
> Able to use Autocad or Sketchup drawing programs
> Useful if able to operate on Mac platform and InDesign software package > The ability to react to issues and problems on site and to deal with and offer solutions to installers.
> Proven experience with all graphic types including; foamex, lightboxes, vinyl, contravision, PVC & mesh banners
> Ability to undertake and complete detailed surveys and report these back in a clear and concise manner
> Understanding of installation methods for these graphics
> Insight to production techniques for these graphics
> Knowledge of working at height methods and equipment
The role will be to handle high profile brand and clients across Europe, Middle East, Turkey & Russia. The Technical Manager will be the client’s main point of contact for all technical matters and advice and will deliver services through 100%’s locally based project management teams and installers who carry out all store level activities.
Rigid SLA exists that must be carefully managed. Reporting accuracy and detail is critical to successful delivery of service. Activity can be delivered as one off or multi-store campaign
Surveys & Installations;
Assess initial briefing to determine timings & access equipment requirements.
Arrange dates, resource and permissions with local partner’s project management teams.
Produce and communicate full briefing of local teams on store specific works.
Support store visits to ensure 1st time success; usually remotely or on occasion in person.
Manage problems and troubleshooting.
Oversee the write up of the comprehensive visit report into client specific format.
Manage client side queries.
. £35,000 + per year (negotiable)
